  • a woman stumbles into Gregor Sonbeinn and is looking for The Von Richtens before collapsing in his arms
    • her skin starts to turn black with mushrooms growing on her
    • she turns into mush all over Gregor
  • “Things of the Red Court, the queen has shown weakness and is undeserving of her title. I shall free you from her tyrannical incompetence. Grow in my garden instead. I embrace you. To Akasha, fester and ROT.”
  • we hear the sound of a war horn from the Court of Rot
  • we get in a fight with corrupted myconids
    • Ophelia Von Carstein raises a zombie, and something takes note of that
    • puddles of goo keep summoning the myconids, and they need to be lit on fire to stop it
    • Ophelia almost kills on of the Crimson Clerics with her Spirit Guardians
  • the Von Richtens approach the party after combat
  • the Grand Cathedral is erupting in a golden color
  • the Red Keep is emitting a red color
  • Astell flies high up into the air and is attacked by the city gargoyles
  • the Von Richten Estate, the Grand Cathedral, and the Red Keep are major points of safety within the city
  • the Von Richtens head north to rally the garrison
  • The Party heads north-west to the Dominis Estate to look for Ophelia's siblings
  • moon appears a mottled green with yellow spreading across its surface - looks diseased
  • we start Tracking Mavros to The Blood Pitt
  • we start to transport civilians from the Blood Pitt to the Red Keep
    • we're being pursued by enemies
    • we break through a barricade that was on fire
    • we save a couple of guards and a woman with 2 kids from corrupted myconids
    • we empty a couple of the Threshian Carriages and some carts to push them into a large ditch to cross the gap between us and the barricade protecting the Red Keep
      • Elamshin briefly stays behind to blow up her mannequins and create a giant wall of flame between us and the plague knights pursuing us
        • Gregor starts praying because he thought that she was going to die
  • we arrive at the Red Keep
    • there's at least 5,000 armored professional soldiers present and ready to go into battle
    • everyone is trying to find out as much information about the situation as possible before moving out
      • someone has clearly infiltrated the city and has been leaking information to the Court of Rot (likely Reynash)
    • Akshan Von Carstein the party's presence immediately in the war tent- sent Misty Von Carstein to grab everyone
    • we hear a piercing shriek emanating from the Red Keep
      • there's an explosion of stone as a mass of limbs and flesh jumps out of the tower that was supposed to be The Children's chambers
      • Mannfred Von Carstein is riding a massive multi-limbed fleshy creature screaming in a fit of rage
        • covered in gore and bright red blood
        • he likely found the children missing and killed the guards
        • Draven Von Carstein is riding right behind him on a horse made of bones and human skulls
        • “My wife’s strays have finally found their way home.” - Mannfred talking about Ophelia and Killian
          • tells Killian to "fetch" and find the children
        • “Should I lose anyone tonight, I will not suffer alone,” then says Mavros Dominis will be under his personal protection
          • Jocasta Von Carstein intercepts and says that Akasha Von Carstein actually requests Mavros's presence
          • Jocasta appears fully formed instead of blurred like normal
          • Mavros starts hyperventilating and passes out
  • Jocasta takes us to The Crypt, much to Akshan's surprise
  • we are sent to Find the Children
