The Crypt
- safest place in the Red Keep
- most protected place in Cabernet
- full of many coffins and crypts
- names inscribed, but no dates
- mostly The Von Carsteins
- where The Party is taken by Jocasta Von Carstein under Akasha Von Carstein's orders so that we can take a Potion of Deep Sleep during Cabernet Under Siege
- the door has a Sylvan inscription on it that reads "Here lies our Honored. May them return in Glory"
- has a mural of an eclipsed sun shining on a coffin
- Akshan Von Carstein sends Misty Von Carstein to watch over us with Jocasta
- the party members except Ophelia Von Carstein are blind folded, but they are all able to trace their paths through the keep anyways
- Jocasta is eyeing up Gregor Sonbeinn like a rewarding desert
- Ophelia jokes that Jocasta can "have him"
- the casket tops are slightly tilted off and fog is coming out of them
- Malachi Von Carstein's top is completely off
- fog is wrapping around each of us; hugging Ophelia; none around Jocasta
- we take the Potion of Deep Sleep, and everyone but Temperance Caddel sleeps in empty coffins
- Ophelia has her own cushy one near the center of the room - close to what are presumably Akasha and Mannfred Von Carstein's coffins
- Ophelia wakes up, and Jocasta is right in her face - she looks significantly better than she did an hour ago
- Winnora Von Carstein and Faerude Von Carstein are using Temperance like a table
- Astell wakes up to the sound of Jocasta dancing around the place
- Sora Von Carstein is huddled in one of the coffins, sniffling
- Astell attempts to console her and gives her one of her nicest feathers and tells her that she isn't alone
- Not Dormier is here to assist the party
- we send guards to The Repository to find Drelyth Von Carstein and Barthrum Von Carstein, according to Astell's dream
- Isolde Von Carstein is currently with Akasha
- we head out to Find the Children
- we return from Find the Children
- Jocasta attacks the real Dormier Von Carstein since the last she heard, he was an imposter
- Temperance and Ophelia convince her to stop and that it's the real Dormier
- Dormier is rattled from everything that has happened, but he takes scritches from Ophelia as a bat
- Dormier resumes his post outside the room
- Ophelia is accused of having relations with Dormier or Malachi, and she takes off her gauntlet to show off her wedding ring annoyedly
- Gregor is tackled by The Children, and he accepts his fate in the dog pile before passing out
- Temperance notices that we're all being watched by many of The Von Carsteins
- staring inquisitively and are on edge
- they look concerned for the children, but they aren't doing anything to draw attention to themselves
- Viktor Von Carstein smirks at Temperance and speaks to Ophelia
- “Cousin! You’ve rejoined the party. We’re brightened by your presence.” “You’ve conveniently brought the children to us. You may rest.”
- Malachi approaches the party and is relieved that everyone is alright
- calls the party allies, even Temperance and Astell
- Astell joins Sora Von Carstein in one of the coffins to comfort her
- Ophelia checks in with Killian Von Carstein, who is covered in bruises and other people's blood
- he says that the children will not be left without guard or eyesight
- he went down to The Repository where Drelyth and Barthrum were reported to be, but he found no sign of the guards from the Silk Court or of Ewen or Durazzan
- he only found the children huddled in a pool of blood that wasn't theirs
- there was the sign of conflict, but no one else
- he seems to be getting frustrated that the children won't say anything about what happened even though they need to
- Ophelia tells him about using her scythe on herself, and he's concerned about whether any members of the party saw what happened
- she tells him about how Astell and Temperance teleported out of the area, leaving her unconscious and leaving Gregor to carry all three of the boys to safety
- mentions that Astell left her book behind in the area to cast through
- mentions that Dormier was the one who helped her get out
- Temperance and Viktor have an "I hate you" moment
- Astell drifts off to sleep
- she dreams of a sort of fancy tent
- overlapping rugs, fine silks and fabrics draping down the sides of the wall, silver chain links
- she sees the woman (The unnamed man and woman) that attacked and killed the Caravan on the road to Ravensrest
- the Witch of Greed
- the woman asks Astell how she believes that the evening has gone
- she apparently knows details about Astell's entire MONTH, let alone evening
- the woman is very displeased by how little information that Astell has gathered about the wife of The Golden King
- was VERY offended when Astell called his wife the Chained Queen
- the woman is pleased, however, that Astell has ingrained herself in the city and that she has fallen into the good graces of The Red Queen
- the woman says that she needs Astell and the others to be further along the next time that they meet
- there is going to be a meeting amongst all the kings and queens soon, and she wants to make sure that the party is in attendance
- meeting is being called by the Red Queen, who is rightfully displeased with other members of the courts and wants to call them to justice
- we will be given an assignment before this, and we need to tell the Red Queen that we know about the meeting
- we are to attend the meeting and become acquainted with individuals there
- there is going to be a meeting amongst all the kings and queens soon, and she wants to make sure that the party is in attendance
- the woman has been working on needle point this entire time, and it's of a silver pawprint
- the same one on The unnamed man and woman, Durias Jarthan's ring, and the necklace around Trevor Von Richten's neck in the portrait
- she dreams of a sort of fancy tent
