Find the Children
- The Party is looking for The Children with Not Dormier and The Bullywugs during Cabernet Under Siege
- accompanied by members of the Blood Legion
- the children were seen headed South towards the breech
- witnesses describe a dark skinned elven woman with a shaven head and curved blades, and Mannfred Von Carstein (being impersonated by Shiskar)
- the kids report that Mannfred told them it was a test and that they were supposed to rally the defenses and to not disappoint him
- we use a couple of hounds and Ophelia Von Carstein's nose to find the kids
- we leave The Crypt with an entourage
- we pass by the Grand Cathedral with Biff the Savior sermonizing and calling out to civilians to take shelter from the Rot
- Biff has summoned some sort of winged entity that's attacking the Rot
- we find Charlie, who attacks us because we're covered in black ichor
- we battle a plague knight to help Corvus Clemmons while Carshan Von Carstein is leading a bunch of guards
- it calls Gregor Sonbeinn cousin and tells him to join the Rot
- we have to convince Carshan that it wasn't his father who brought him out here, but rather Shiskar
- we send Carshan back to the Red Keep, guarded by the Bullywugs and a few other guards
- Corvus gives Temperance Caddel a Tonic of Remove Curse and gives Astell a Ring of Mind Shielding
- tells Ophelia that there are 5 children left and to be careful of who she trusts
- we can call upon him if we need anything
- Corvus gives Astell a letter for Durias Jarthan the next time the party seems him; says that DJ should be more open-minded at their next meeting
- there are pools of acid in the streets, and some buildings appear melted or like they collapsed
- some of the walls have carvings on them - markings made by Leanna Von Carstein and Leandrew Von Carstein that they tried to teach Ophelia at one point
- we come across Tuu'Rak and almost get into a fight with him
- he leads us to Leanna and Leandrew after we convince him that we weren't going to harm the kids
- we send Leanna and Leandrew home to the Red Keep with a squad of guards and Tuu'Rak
- Ophelia comes across the scent of blood and herbs that work as coagulants - smells of Torvis Von Carstein
- the herbs are something that Elasos Von Carstein has on him all the time
- we come across runes drawn in blood and a book named Binding Circles of the Southern Wastes
- Arkus Von Carstein is mimicking Mannfred's voice and bluffs that he's going to blow us all up
- he doesn't trust us after who he thought was Mannfred attacked him, Torvis, and Elasos
- asks us some questions to prove that we are who we say we are
- Ophelia persuades him to drop his knife, and he collapses, passed out
- his wounds don't heal after the administration of a healing potion
- we administer the Tonic of Remove Curse that Corvus gave us, and he starts seizing and vomiting black bile, shadow, and mist - physically expelling the curse from his body
- Ophelia convinces Temperance to heal him afterwards
- Arkus shoots awake and starts to drag us in the direction of where he left Torvis and Elasos
- we approach the last 2 kids, who are being guarded by the real Dormier Von Carstein
- Torvis has horrible, cursed wounds that aren't healing
- Ophelia casts Death Ward on Torvis
- Not Dormier turns and stabs Temperance
- Reynash yells "Death to the false Queen! For the Rot!" and half of the remaining soldiers shout "FOR THE ROT" before turning on us and the other soldiers
